
The Danish Town Planning Institute is a private, independent
institution, the aim of which is to advance urban and regional planning in Denmark. The
Town Planning Institute adresses planners, students, public authorities and interested
citizens, who wish to know more about planning.
The Town Planning Institute works at attracting interest to current planning questions and
it is a promoter of new knowledge within planning. This is done through the library,
through publishing activities, participation in projects on development, by arranging
courses, seminars, conferences, study tours and by continuous participation in the
planning debate.
