"The Infinite Happiness" (Bêka & Partners, 2015, France / DK) takes us to the heart of one of the contemporary housing development considered to be a new model of success - Giant "8 House" “8-tallet” built by famous Danish architect Bjarke Ingels (BIG). The film presents the collection of life stories, personal experiences of living inside this experiment of vertical village, elected in 2011 the World best residential building, raising the question: Does the architecture have the ability to create collective happiness?

Films are followed by discussions/Q&A with guest experts and the time for networking with beers and snacks.
Guest: Sophia Shuff - urban anthropologist from Gehl - Making Cities for People.

URBANE films&talks is an independent project of screening urban-themed documentaries exploring cities, architecture, sustainability, followed by talks with experts. We explore urban issues with the sustainability angle, aiming to bring together interdisicplinary audience to share their knowledge and experience, and inspire to take an action. Among the guest experts, we had a pleasure to talk with city architect Tina Saaby, architects from Gehl, EFFEKT, filmmakers and photographers. Current second year of the project is supported by DFI - Danish Film Institue.
