BID - The future of urban development

Session content
BIDs (Business Improvement Districts) are making urban development more efficient, green, and inclusive across European cities. As systems for collective action, BIDs mobilise resources and key actors operating in local areas to address multi-stakeholder issues. The BID-model is a useful tool in the post-covid era, as a tried and true method with wide applicability.

This session will showcase the work of European BIDs, and discuss the possibilities, challenges, and implementation process.

This session is an official side event of the EU Regions Week 2021
